About Coleman Country Taxidermy

I am sure you are very excited about your hunting experience in New Zealand and seeing what our beautiful country has to offer.

I began doing taxidermy back in 2008, having previously been a carpenter before I made the decision to dive headfirst into my passion. I love the idea of recreating perfect memories, which you will see when you’re looking at your mounted trophy years after the hunt. A lot of my spare time is spent in the hills, not only hunting but also observing animals in their natural environment and watching how they interact with their habitat and other wild animals.

I have sculpted all the manikins myself and continue to create more designs each year. I also do my own tanning therefore keeping everything in house for the best final product.

Each year I visit the USA so I can keep up to date with any new techniques and chemicals being used to ensure we are always able to offer the very best product for our customers.

We are delighted to be able to provide our specialist taxidermy services to you whilst you’re hunting in New Zealand. We work closely with only a few selected quality outfitters to ensure your trophy has the best care throughout the hunt to taxidermy process. You will find our taxidermy is up to the highest quality in a global standard, whether making custom poses and habitats or any of the more traditional turns and offsets we have you covered.
